The work which I want to do is work that helps people.
When I see a good infographic I get excited, when I see an interactive map on a website I squeal. I've been inspired countless times by the fabulous graphic work that many news sources use these days to help explain and make the information approachable.
I want to help organizations get their messages across as clearly as possible. I want to create explanatory videos about how the climate crisis and the extractive capitalism we live under are connected. I want to be a part of the community of designers who know the power they can have over influencing people and to use it for the betterment of the world.
I've been a creative since I can remember, and when I learned about the intersection between technology, art, and what people use in their day-to-day lives, I was hooked. I've been lucky to have been able to learn a lot of skills in school as well as during my time volunteering.

In school I learned all of the Adobe programs and feel the most comfortable designing with them. However I have experience teaching myself applications and feel comfortable doing so as well as relish in the challenge.
